Cookie Policy
Like most websites and web applications, FleetGS uses cookies. This page explains what they are, which ones we use, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your browser when you visit. They're used to remember things — like keeping you logged in, saving your preferences, or understanding how you use the site.
Cookies set by the website you're visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services (like Google Analytics) are called third-party cookies.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Essential (Strictly Necessary)
These cookies are required for the platform to function. Without them, you can't log in or use core features. They cannot be disabled.
Functional
These cookies remember your preferences and settings to give you a better experience. They're not strictly necessary, but disabling them means we won't remember your choices between visits.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our marketing website. This helps us improve the product and content. Analytics cookies can be disabled via our cookie banner or your browser settings.
Analytics data is anonymised — we cannot identify individual visitors from it. IP addresses are anonymised before being sent to Google.
Marketing
We do not currently use any marketing or advertising cookies. We won't add them without updating this policy and asking for your consent first.
3. How to manage your cookie preferences
Cookie banner
When you first visit our website, you'll see a cookie banner. You can accept all cookies, accept essential cookies only, or customise your preferences. You can update your choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Browser settings
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is saved. Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to FleetGS.
Here are links to cookie settings for common browsers:
4. Third-party cookies
The only third-party cookies we currently use are from Google Analytics. Google may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy as our use of cookies changes. We'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or our cookie banner.
